Black Women In Pro Wrestling Day 19: Alicia Fox

Victoria Crawford aka Alicia Fox began her professional wrestling career in July 2006, where she signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment, and was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), WWE's developmental territory, where she won the OVW Women's Championship in October 2006. Crawford was later transferred to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) in September 2007. She soon debuted on the main roster in June 2008 with a wedding planner gimmick. In November 2008, Crawford was traded to ECW, becoming a valet for DJ Gabriel. In April 2009, Crawford was drafted to SmackDown as part of the Supplemental Draft, where she aligned herself with Michelle McCool feuding against Melina. Two months later, Crawford was traded to Raw, where she would become Zack Ryder's valet in May 2010, and would later win her first WWE Divas Championship at the Fatal 4-Way pay-per-view in June 2010, holding the title until August 2010 at the SummerSlam pay-per-view. Also in August 2010, Crawford appeared as a 'Pro' on the third season of NXT.
